Michael James Talbot

London-based artist Michael James Talbot creates beautiful sculptures of elongated women inspired by Greek mythology and Venetian masquerades. The surreal representations merge the human form with abstract and exaggerated shapes, most often presenting a visual extension of the female’s garment.

Beautiful works! Great collection. As I acquired an unusual RAKU piece today I was searching for more information on the subject and found these to be beautiful examples.

Personally loved the Kenya-Earthenware-Clay-Scu, as it reminded me of my fiancée who died in an accident two days after our engagement.
